Tracy and David's Wedding at Orchardleigh House, Frome

Last Sunday saw me drive 150 miles to Frome in Somerset to cover the wedding of Tracy and David at Orchardleigh House. I love shooting in Somerset and have to say that Orchardleigh House was one of the best venues i have been privileged to work at.

It was the hottest day of the year by far, with the temperature gauge on my car saying that it was 35 degrees outside. The harsh sunlight can cause problems for the inexperienced wedding photographer but this a challenge i love to work with.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful All Saints Church in the picturesque village of Lullington before eveyone was driven back through the gatehouse and stunning estate to the house.

Throughout the day i was fortunate to be helped by Toastmaster Peter Craft who was superb and Nikki Burbudge the coordinator at Orchardleigh. Together they helped to make my life very easy indeed and this was certainly one the my favourite weddings of the year, so far.

Here a few favourite images of the day.

A stunning venue; i would love to work here again.
