2010 News and Happy New Year

Well 2009 has almost left us so i wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients, suppliers and friends from both within the industry and outside for all their kindness and support throughout the last decade.

The forthcoming year should be an exciting one for us. We have incorporated new branding in Art Visage and have launched two new websites that show case my location portraiture and other professional commissions. The key aim of the re branding is to add some freshness and even more creativity into my photography which in turns offers clients something extra when they commission me to be their photographer.

As ever i remain firmly dedicated to wedding photography and am really looking forward to the new season with great excitement. Despite being fortunate enough to have covered well over 600 weddings i still get a huge buzz from wedding photography and being apart of a couple's very special day and less than 24 hours after my last wedding of the decade, i can't wait to get started on 2010's.

Also, i hope to announce a new date for my intensive workshop very soon so keep watching this space. If you want to be notified before an announcement here, please feel free to email me to be added to the mailing list.

As i mentioned on my old blog, i am now a member of the Wedding Workshop a group of wedding specialists based in East Sussex and this has opened up all sorts of long term local marketing opportunities.

January will see me attending two wedding fairs in East Sussex. Firstly on Sunday 17th at the Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne and then the following week at the Powdermills Hotel in Battle. I should have a full range of sample albums on display and the fairs are a great place to come and talk over plans and ideas.

Finally i want to wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Holly and Gary's Wedding at Loseley Park

Its been a mad December as usual with 4 weddings already covered as well as trying to keep up with the usual pre-Christmas rush.

A couple of weeks ago i covered the wedding of Holly and Gary in Surrey. Their church ceremony was followed by a reception at the stunning Loseley Park near Guildford.

This was my first visit to the venue and i have to say that despite the rapidly failing light, the Elizabethan Manor was stunning. Combined with the beautifully decorated Tithe Barn, it was truly a wonderful place to hold a wedding reception.

Holly and Gary were superb to work for all day and here are a couple of tasters from the day. The whole wedding can be viewed in the Client area of my website.

Congratulations guys!

I love this shot as Holly arrives at church.

New Look Blog

Welcome to my new look blog.

The new look and new branding i.e. Art Visage is to coincide with my the launch of my new location portrait and commissions websites.

Over my career, i have been fortunate enough to have earned a good reputation for producing quality wedding photography throughout the UK. Along the way i have been asked to photograph portraits, christenings and numerous other commissions.

These days it seems that more and more i am being asked to take on all sorts of varied and exciting commissions. These have ranged from a major Harley-Davidson dealership to blu-chip companies to past wedding clients and their friends and relations.

After a lot of thought, effort and planning, i finally decided that new websites linked via my wedding site www.peterprior.com was the best way to go. As weddings very much remain my passion and first love, i will only be shooting a very limited number of location portraits and non-wedding commissions.

Please take a look at the new sites and do not hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in my work either as a prospective client or a photographer.
